Aasha Collective is an entity of Our Daughters International, a US based 501 (c)3 non-profit organization.

Our Daughters International and its partners exists to bring an end to human trafficking in Nepal, and to see lives and communities transformed.

Girls and women are especially vulnerable to trafficking in Nepal due to extreme poverty, its patriarchal society and an open border to India.

Trafficking victims and at-risk girls and women who have been rescued by ODI's supported partners, are given the opportunity to learn vocational skills at a government certified Training Center. These skills help prevent further victimization by providing employment.

Daughters are human trafficking overcomers who are graduates of Our Daughters International's partner's Training Center program.

These women learned to become skilled artisans who create the products sold by Aasha Collective.

Many of their stories include trauma from their past as overcomers of gender-based violence or human trafficking. When they are rescued, they affectionately become "daughters," surrounded by other girls and women who have shared experiences, and are able to become part of a family, sometimes for the first time, that provides love, care, and support.

Aasha Collective provides dignified employment to the daughter artisans who make the products you purchase. All products are ethically handcrafted and adhere to fair trade standards and practices.

100% of net proceeds from sales go back to provide vocational skill training for other at-risk girls and women.

At Aasha, we source as many materials in Nepal as possible to help fuel the economy and create jobs for women.

Our tote bags are made from 100% organic cotton machine loomed in Nepal.

Our pouches are made from Dhaka, a hand-loomed fabric made only in Nepal.

Our felt is handmade from New Zealand wool.
